Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center was established in September of 1994 and is located in north central North Dakota in the city of Minot. The center is named after the late U.S. Senator Quentin N. The center is unique in that it is one of the few centers located in a residential neighborhood and that it has a single parent component. Child Care Service is provided by ABC Daycare. The center's capacity is 250 student employees (125 male & 125 female). Of our 125 females, 24 are single parents caring for up to 30 children with the assistance of staff. With a staffing of approximately 105, the center is able to provide a significant amount of individual attention to the student employees.
