BA-Janitor

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

Cleans and maintains assigned buildings to an inspection ready status daily.  Demonstrates necessary skill and ability required to strip and wax floors and maintain a hard wax shine.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs normal janitorial duties, which consist of but are not limited to scrubbing floors, washing walls, cleaning and polishing restroom fixtures.
• Empties trashcans as appropriate.
• Replaces paper products in dispensers as required.
• Sweeps and mops offices and hallways daily.
• Strips and re-waxes floors as needed.
• Properly secures areas when daily work has been completed.
• Maintains a stock of needed items of supply and accounts for all equipment and supplies issued.
• Assists in Center audits as the need arises.
• Describe goals, performance expectations and standards, and articulate how their individual performance supports the admission, career preparation, career development and career transition of students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in janitorial work.
